Maison Louis Marie Le Refuge d'Ernest Candle
Le Refuge d’Ernest is a winter seasonal candle scent inspired by a quiet cabin nestled in the Swiss Alps. It pays tribute to Marie’s great-great-great grandfather, Ernest Solvay — a Belgian scientist and mountaineer who commissioned a solitary alpine shelter near the peak of the Matterhorn in 1915, designed to protect climbers from sudden storms. This scent captures that moment of pause before ascent: the comfort of crackling wood, smoky cedar, and resinous warmth as you gather by the fire, surrounded by stillness and snow. A grounding ritual of safety, strength, and solitude.

RETURNS
We do not accept returns on vintage or sale items. Returns must be initiated within 5 days of package delivery. Items must be in new/unused condition, with the tags still attached. SHIPPING
We typically ship all orders within 1-2 business days unless otherwise stated. Orders are not shipped on weekends or Mondays, if you need your order by a specific date, please let us know! All orders ship from Kansas City, MO.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
We ship all international orders via USPS & UPS. Transit time will vary based on location. Check shipping rates and delivery dates in during check-out. The customer is responsible for all duties and fees incurred.

LOST PACKAGES:
Unfortunately, we are not responsible for packages that may become lost in transit. Locating the package is the recipient's responsibility. Please make sure your shipping address, apartment numbers, etc. are correct when placing an order or returning a package.
