Kansas City based women's clothing store & gallery, Dear Society is a collection of minimalist contemporary designs, curated vintage, wardrobe essentials & rotating artist collections
Dear Society is a resource for style inspiration, contemporary seasonal wardrobe staples & special vintage pieces that will be relevant in your closet for years to come.
From the beginning of it's conception in 2015 to it's current era, owner Chanel Jezek's focus has always been on creating a welcoming environment that encourages confidence and thoughtfulness in the way you dress, while supporting female designers and mindfully crafted brands.
We are proud to have been recognized in Vogue's Midwest Shopping Guide in 2016, and in 2021, we were honored to be named one of the "Vogue's Best of 14 Small Businesses to Support in the Midwest."
Over the years, Dear Society has been a house to numerous talented female artists, designers & entrepreneurs.
Currently our artist in residence includes Cvet Préri [svet prare-ee] a Kansas City based fashion designer producing an ongoing and seasonless collection of handcrafted clothing focused on slow, ethical, and sustainable practices.
Katherine Moes is a Kansas City based ceramic artist who creates organic shapes and natural texture objects that hold a peaceful presence in one's home.
Anne Lloyd du Pont grew up in New England, attended undergraduate school at Bard College and Boston University, and completed her masters in printmaking and painting at University of Missouri in Kansas City. Her exterior Plein Air landscapes (oil and gouache on paper) are portraits; small, intimate expressions of a deep love and reverence for this planet and the places she loves visiting.
Cvet Préri, Katherine Moes, Lloyd Du Pont & a collection of monthly rotating artists are on display in the gallery.
