Order Info & Returns
We ship all orders within the U.S.A. via USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground within 3 business days of receiving the order unless otherwise stated. Once we ship out your order, we will e-mail you a tracking number. Most packages take 2-3 business days to be delivered within the states.
Currently we are also sending International packages with tracking information to the following countries: Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Croatia, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and United Kingdom. If your country is not listed and are interested in placing an order on Dear Society, please contact us with your request. Note: Dear Society is not responsible for lost packages at the Post Office. Please make sure your shipping address, apartment numbers, etc. are correct when placing an order or returning a package.
In Store Purchases
If you are not happy with your purchase, you may return item(s) for store credit within 5 days of purchase. We do not accept returns on vintage pieces, furniture, or sale items (including flash sales). All vintage items are marked as is and stated in the correct condition. Please check measurements before purchasing.
We accept returns on full price merchandise if the return is postmarked within 5 days of you receiving the item. Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org immediately with your order number and reason for returning so we know to expect your return. Returns must be shipped within four days of receiving your return shipping label.
We do not accept returns on vintage pieces, furniture, or sale items. Modern items purchased during flash sales CAN be returned for store credit or exchange, unless it was a previously marked down item. All vintage items are marked as is and stated in the correct condition. Please check measurements before purchasing.You are responsible for shipping costs of the return package back to Dear Society. For your convenience, we will provide you with a return label via email once you contact us. Once we receive the item and confirm that it's in restockable condition (no signs of wear, tags still attached) then we will issue a refund, minus the cost of the return shipping.
You may place an order online or visit the shop in Kansas City to make a purchase. If you'd like to place an order online and pick up at the shop, you may select "Pick Up at Shop" during check out.
Online purchases of modern items (excluding sale items) for local pick up are eligible for a full refund within 5 days of placing the order. If items are not picked up within 5 days of your purchase, store credit will be administered if you choose to return your order. Please pick up all orders within a week of placing your order. If you are not able to pick up your order within 7 days, please contact us at email@example.com so we know when to expect you.
PRIVACY & SECURITY
We keep all your information private and would never sell your information to third parties. We do not keep Credit Card information on file for security purposes.
